MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 22, 2014) - This weekend the X-1R Pro Cup Series transitions from having raced at the smallest track on the circuit to the largest as the series heads to the .75-mile Memphis International Raceway (MIR). The Memphis, Tenn., track which use to be staple on the NASCAR Nationwide and Truck Series schedules annually, will be a bit of a question mark for teams as most have never seen the facility much less raced there.
The Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by: COMP Cams returned to Memphis International Raceway (MIR) over the weekend for the first time in over a month. The weather was perfect and the action on the drag strip was nonstop. The R.T. Turbines Jr. Dragsters produced a first time winner, Drew Mann Tracey out of the Motorvation Motorsports camp, and the R.T. Turbines D.O.T. Street in the D.O.T. saw David Elam from Covington, Tenn. pull out his second victory of the season with a win.
